ABOUT US — Glamp Raleigh is designed to be its own destination. It can be set up anywhere- a backyard, a campsite, a retreat center, an indoor slumber party. But what it creates is a destination where people truly connect with each other. Where conversations become meaningful, where families and friends connect, where kids are reminded that being with each other is more fun than anything on a screen. With Glamp Raleigh, all you need to do is show up. We provide the experience for you- setting up everything you need for an amazing experience, whether you are in your own backyard, a slumber party for your kids, or even a retreat!

Who We Are — Katherine Robbins is a school librarian by profession, but has held a host of other roles in her life, the most important running a busy household with three children.  She found that as her kids grew, she watched as they moved towards long, busy days, full of sports, dance, and church activities. She had a desire to do something to connect more with her own children and her community but had not figured out the right fit. Then along came Glamp Raleigh. Michael Cutts had created something that the Triangle needed, and Katherine wanted to keep it going. Putting up their first tent, she and husband Matt realized they didn’t need much else- the kids were so excited about glamping in their backyard that they entertained themselves for hours, playing games, talking up a storm. Everyone was comfortable, cozy, and best of all- it was easy. There was no packing, stressing about forgetting something or wondering how far they would make it down the road before having to stop.
